Limit travelDo not take a low, unknown or already dangerous road.
Prepare to leave if instructedDocuments, drinking water, medicine, charged phone, lamp, clothes and light food.
Protect water and healthKeep children away from stagnant water; protect wells and water reserves when possible.
Inform quicklyShare the message with neighbors, neighborhood leaders, nearby villages, schools, health centers and markets.

Act without taking risks

Never cross moving waterEven shallow water can sweep away a person, motorbike or vehicle.
Move to higher groundStay away from riverbanks, bridges, drains, low points, ponds and current zones.
Evacuate only if it is saferFollow local instructions. Do not head toward a cut or unknown road.
Help without exposing yourselfAlert responders or local officials; do not enter water to recover property.
